Chatham County will host its upcoming Delinquent Property Tax Sale Auction on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the Chatham County Courthouse, 133 Montgomery Street, Savannah, GA 31401. Registration will open at 9:45 a.m., with bidding beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until 4:00 p.m.

Terms of Sale:
This is a public auction conducted by the Levying Officer, where properties are sold “as-is.” Opening bids include all applicable taxes, penalties, and costs, and payment must be made by 2:00 PM on the sale day via cash, cashier’s check, or money order. Buyers receive a Sheriff’s Tax Deed that grants them a “defeasible” title, which they can make permanent by foreclosing on redemption rights after one year. At 2:30 p.m., we may re-offer properties that received no opening bids.
